Nallur Kovil, Jaffna

This project hopes to select places of various cultural and religious importance in Sri Lanka and launch a cleaning project to protect the environment. There, religious places belonging to different provinces of Sri Lanka are selected. It is also expected that the Sunday school students of those religious places will work with the village elders for this project. The main objective of this program is to preserve the environmental beauty and create respect for places of religious and cultural importance in the country. Hence this project is called "Sanctuary Shine".

This means, "A project focused on making sacred spaces both physically clean and spiritually uplifting".  We have been doing this project continuously for nine months. The first instance is the Nallur Kovil in Jaffna. The reason is the Nallur Kovil procession next month. Simultaneously, this project is carried out.
